573 Visa Condition 1:

To remain compliant to your 573 Visa you can only enroll in a CRICOS course and must remain enrolled throughout the length of the course.
(CRICOS stands for Commonwealth Register of Institutions and Courses for Overseas Students)

During the course you must maintain the required level of attendance for each semester of your course. You course provider may have different attendance requirements os best to ensure you understand what they are and make sure your comply with them.

573 Visa Condition 2:

The Department of Immigration and Citizenship requires that you carry appropriate health insurance whilst you are in Australia.
Make sure you have an up to date policy for the Overseas Student Health Cover or OSHC. This policy is designed to protect you in case you are sick during your course. It also protects the Australian tax payer from paying for your medical expenses should you be ill in Australia.

573 Visa Condition 3:

One of the most important conditions of the the 573 Visa is the work provisions. During yoru course you are entitled to work a maximum of 20 hours per week.
During semester breaks there are no restrictions to the number of hours you may work. This is the time most students work to make money for the next semester.

Please be aware that you are not permitted to work prior to starting your course in Australia. So even if you arrive a few days before your course starts, do be tempted to work.|
