This Visa enables genuine business visitors seeking short-term entry to Australia of up to 3 months for the following purpose:

457 Visa
The 457 visa is a demand driven, designed to meet the specific needs of the Australian workforce for skilled workers and professionals. This is the most commonly used visa for employers to sponsor overseas workers and professionals on a temporary basis. While there are no age limitations, this visa does generally require the individual to have minimum English language ability and specific skills.
The Employer has certain obligations, including, but not limited to, obtaining approval from the Department of Immigration and Citizenship to sponsor overseas workers and professionals, ensuring minimum salary and benefits in accordance with workplace agreements, and ensuring the employees are licensed appropriately with the necessary Regulatory Board / Council.
The 457 visa is valid for or multiple entries and permits the individual to:
- Earn income and receive benefits in accordance to the relevant Australian award ( Standard Employment conditions particular to a specific industry and position)
- work in Australia for a period of between three (3) months and four (4) years
- bring any eligible dependents with them to Australia – dependents can work and study
- Eligible Superannuation employer contributions ( Central Provident Fund )
At the end of the visa period, the individual could depart Australia or apply for another temporary visa. During the sponsorship period, the individual may apply for permanent residency.
